A little background on how Griffin Link Came to Be and what our clients are saying about us

Griffin Link Technologies was created by a group of Senior IT Professionals who were beyond frustrated every time they were sent to deploy a solution that was selected purely based on sales revenue. Knowing that theses solutions only barely took the clients needs into account and that there were better solutions (very often less expensive) that fit the client's business and requirements better, they would go and do as their job required. Eventually they got fed up and said enough is enough and set off to create a company where the goal was to create the best custom operating environments that fit our clients needs and workflow ALWAYS. To guarantee this to be the case, Griffin Link took a different approach to the traditional "sales department" and scrapped the sales person role. We replaced our sales staff with client representatives, many of who come from the service and hospitality industry, to act as your personal bridge to any of our departments. Their entire job is to get what you need, where you need it, when you need it there. Yes, our client representatives will at times present you with products or services, but everything that is presented to you has been qualified by our TECHNICAL sales team which are all members of our engineering staff. We try hard to stress that the ones that are making any recommendations for your systems are the ones that would need to work on them if anything where to go wrong, so of course they want to make sure you have the proper solution that addresses your problem or need correctly.

Case Study - Left High And Dry In PA
Problem

A Client in the manufacturing industry originally approached us for assistance when their Systems Administrator just up and left with no more notice than a note taped to the owners door one Friday night. The client and his son attempted to keep the IT ship sailing straight, and all contact attempts to the old Administrator where being ignored. After 3-4 weeks the systems were starting to present issues to the users and the client did not know what to do as they were having issues finding a replacement Administrator. By the time they reached out to us they were reporting email issues, server outages and user lockouts from their primary ERP system. Workflow and production was severely impacted and they needed help quickly.

Solution

Griffin Link swooped in to pick up the pieces and put everything back together correctly. A team of field engineers were dispatched the next day to start discovery on the environment and to triage the user issues. Once the dust had settled and all critical user issues were resolved we were able to unwind the mess that had been left behind by the previous Administrator and stabilize the environment.
We also presented them with a huge cost savings opportunity when a Managed Services contract was signed and they were able to scratch employee search and training off their list. Now, our help-desk keeps all their users up and running while our NOC keeps their environment healthy and stable.

Case Study - to many applications
Problem

A Client in the fuel delivery and fuel system maintenance industry approached us looking for a way to streamline their business functionality and upgrade their network. They were running a multi site business out of 5 different out-of-the-box systems with no integration to the main accounting and resource management system. The manual process of consolidating the data from all the sites into the main accounting system called for 2 part time data entry interns. Delivery and routing were also performed from yet another application that also did not talk with any of the others. Their manual overhead and need for multiple oversights was raising their personnel overhead and hurting the bottom line.

Solution

Our application developers visited every site and sat with every user to find out what they do throughout the day to figure out how can a single integrated system would help them be more efficient. Once the workflow and data flow of the company was mapped out, our developers created a full custom ERP system that runs on a .NET browser based front end with a custom SQL back end database. The ERP system was built to utilize the available APIs in their accounting system and replaced their resource management system. Using google maps API, the routing system was also replaced with a internal module to the ERP system. The new ERP system enabled them to reduce their error rate by over 80% and personnel overhead by almost 35% in the head office and almost 18% in each branch location due to reduced manual process.

Case Study - Tic Tock Doc
Problem

A Client in the mental health industry came to us with a blank slate of an office, no chosen medical record system (EMR) and less then a month till opening. All systems needed to be online and completed before opening to pass certification inspection. If their deadline was not met they would need to wait another month until they could get certified and start seeing patients. The cherry on top is that was that their budget, being pre-revenue, was limited.

Solution

We started out by helping the client select the SaaS EMR system that best fit their business needs and determined the bare minimum required to get them through their certification. With their strict budget in mind we approached our distributors to get all the needed equipment onsite as quickly as possible at the best prices possible. Our structured cable specialist ran new CAT6 cable throughout the new office space and our field engineers setup all the workstations as soon as the furniture was delivered. Our client was now ready to impress the certification board with 4 days to spare!

Post Opening

After opening their doors (on time) and revenue started flowing in, we circled back to shore up all the loose ends that they couldn't afford on the first go around and instituted a small managed service contract to keep them healthy
